Everything has its beauty is a handmade artist’s book of diary entries and images made during a visit to Hangzhou and Shanghai, China in April 2012.

Production Notes

Shot on film using a modified Holga camera, the negatives were scanned and minimally post-processed to remove dust spots and to harmonize colour space between different images. The book pages are printed with archival inks on Asuka japanese paper, with Mitsumata interleave papers. The cover is handmade watercolour paper sourced from Papetiere St. Armand in Montreal Canada. Japanese stab bound, 45 pages with two double fold-outs, 8.5 X 11 inches. Unique.
